Parents, I hope you all are doing well and I can’t wait to have your child back at school on SEPTEMBER 30th!  If you are able to do virtual learning, your child has a “Parent’s Guide to Google Classroom” in their folder with their username and password. I can send it to you if it is not accessible! They should be familiar with how to access their classwork once they get logged in. Please see the “educational websites” for additional home learning opportunities, if needed.  These are also independent activities so us parents can get some work done as well :)

  1. SuccessMaker (ela/math)-This is the program we use in our lab 3-4 days a week. It is individualized to your child’s instructional needs.
  2. (math)-This program is aligned with our new curriculum. It provides lessons, sprints, and challenges. I can also track progress :) Log in and password in their red folder.
  3. Brainpopjr (ALL subjects)-They LOVE these little videos and they can be followed with a quiz to check for understanding.
  4. Scholastic is NEW to them, but is a great resource that my kids have really enjoyed...also virtual field trips is a nice break!
  5. READ!!!!!! Teach life skills. Enjoy your extra time with them. And BREATHE!!!

In the “photo album” I have some tech free learning ideas.

Lastly, but most importantly, PLEASE tell your children I miss them and cannot wait to see them again!!! Stay safe, have fun, and HAPPY LEARNING!
